Shelia’s goal is to be her clients' trusted advisor, helping them navigate through the sometimes complex process of home buying, home selling or investing in property. She takes the time to fully understand her client's needs, working diligently and efficiently to accomplish their objectives. She is committed to being a responsive and knowledgeable resource utilizing the latest technology. Shelia utilizes her experience and expertise from her many moves as a USCG wife over 20 years and her own subsequent corporate moves to benefit her clients in guiding them through their transitions. As a partner on The Intensity Team, Shelia and her husband Wayne have over 29 years of combined real estate experience. Prior to entering a career in real estate, Shelia enjoyed 20+ years in consulting, customer service, communications and project/program management in large corporations – namely IBM and Booz, Allen & Hamilton.

Shelia grew up on a farm in Indiana with seven (7) siblings and moved to central Florida at age 11. She graduated from Zehpyrhills High School, relocated to Kentucky for two years of college, then back to Florida to complete her bachelors degree at the University of South Florida where she met Wayne. After 30 years of marriage we've been around the block and across the country....each time involved in real estate purchases and sales of our own.

Wayne began his real estate career in 1988 and has been licensed in Virginia, South Carolina, California and North Carolina since 2001. He has done it all; Residential & Commercial sales, Business Brokerage, Broker in Charge and Team Leader for 8 years launching multiple market centers for Keller Williams Realty including his own franchise with Keller Williams Realty in Chapel Hill. He holds the 203K Specialist and Certified Negotiation Expert designations and specializes in Seller representation. He shares his knowledge & experience teaching classes regularly to other Realtors througout the area.

Wayne was born in Tampa, Florida, the son of a railroad worker and the youngest of five (5) siblings. Because Dad was so good at his job we moved around because of his frequent promotions. By the time I left for college I had lived in Tampa, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Miami, Wildwood (FL), back to Jacksonville and back to Tampa to attend the University of South Florida. But let's not stop there....I moved back to Jacksonville where I joined the U.S. Coast Guard...now this really gets fun...moved to Wildwood (NJ), Galveston (TX), New York (NY), Iwo Jima (JA), Marianna (FL)....re-enter Shelia, we got married and had our first daughter (Kelly), Honolulu (HI)...had our second daughter (Lyndsey), then to Marietta (GA), Washington (DC), Charleston (SC), San Diego (CA) and finally Raleigh (NC). And, we never plan on leaving!
